About Us

Kids Fun and Drama (KFAD) is a non-profit children's theatre group located in Beloit, WI. Each year KFAD puts on two musicals, one in the spring and one in the fall. The kids of KFAD are also involved in outreach programs, fundraisers, and community events including Christmas caroling each winter.

In the KFAD program, your child will learn acting, singing, and dance skills, as well as how to work with a team of other kids who share their passion for the theatre arts.

What are the age requirements?

KFAD is open to kids 7-18 years old.

Who leads the KFAD program?

KFAD is supported by a professional staff including a director, pianist, choreographer, costume designer, set and lighting designers, and parent volunteers.

When can I enroll my child?

Registration for the spring production is usually in late January or early February, while registration for the fall production happens in August. Our annual summer camp is in August and we sometimes offer additional classes or workshops throughout the year.

How much does KFAD cost?

Tuition is $200 per student and includes theatre instruction, script, and costume. We also offer a $50 discount to families who pledge to volunteer 10 hours during the show season. Part of the KFAD mission is to make the program available to all interested

kids, and scholarships are available. Please contact us if you are interested in

scholarship opportunities.

Where is KFAD Located?

The KFAD Studio is located at 3 Eclipse Blvd. in Beloit, behind the Beloit Public Library.

Can I volunteer?

Yes! We are looking for volunteers for our spring production. Volunteer opportunities are listed here.

Is KFAD hiring?

KFAD is always interested in connecting with possible directors, music directors, choreographers, technical directors, acccompanists, and teachers to work with in the future! Please send us an email with your resume and letter of interest. Visit this page for more info.
