About Us
Who Are We
Kids Fun & Drama (KFAD) is a nonprofit youth performing arts organization based in Beloit, Wisconsin, serving families across the Stateline area. Since 1989, KFAD has been a place where young people build confidence, creativity, and community through theater.
Today, KFAD offers a wide range of programs including full-scale productions, classes, workshops, camps, and community events—creating opportunities for students of all experience levels to explore the performing arts.
What We Do
At KFAD, we believe theater is more than just putting on a show. It’s about helping young people grow.

Our Programs
KFAD offers multiple ways for students to get involved at every stage of their journey:

Main Stage Productions – Full-scale musicals that include rehearsals, tech week, and live performances

Summer Productions (Teen & Kids Musicals) – Seasonal performance opportunities offered during the summer months

Plays – Non-musical productions focused on acting and storytelling

Camps – Structured summer programs combining theater activities, skill-building, and performance

Classes & Workshops – Short-term programs focused on specific skills such as acting, singing, and movement

Special Events – Community-based events, performances, and fundraisers

Who We Serve
We offer programming for a wide range of ages:

KinderFAD: Ages 4–7

Youth Programs: Ages 7–18

Teen Opportunities: Up to age 21

A Growing Organization
KFAD has experienced significant growth in recent years, with participation increasing and programs filling more quickly than ever before. What began as a small, volunteer-led organization has evolved into a thriving arts program serving families across the Stateline area.
With the addition of a full-time Executive Director, KFAD is entering a new chapter focused on strengthening programs, expanding opportunities, and building long-term sustainability.
